1 LEPIDOLITE GEMSTONE CRYSTAL TUMBLESTONE

Purple and lilac lepidolite semi precious, polished gem tumblestone. Lepidolite is predominantly pale lilac in colour with specks of purple, violet (lithium gives the crystal its purple colouring) and silver glints thanks to the presence of mica. A powerful healer, lepidolite has anti-inflammatory properties and is considered to be a pain relieving crystal, numbing sciatica and neuralgia. It has been used to help patients overcome the side effects of anaesthetic and to reduce dependency (especially addiction to pharmaceutical drugs such as anti-depressants and tranquillisers). It is also recognised as being helpful in releasing the wearer from emotional dependency. It is said to halt obsessive thoughts and relieves feelings of despair. An excellent stone for helping to stabilise mood swings and has been specifically suggested for use with bipolar disorder. Associated with the brow / crown chakras.
